Biography
After only two seasons in the NFL, Darrelle Revis has already proven himself as an integral part of the New York Jets. Drafted in the first round in 2007, Darrelle became the Jets’ first rookie to start as cornerback on opening day since 1996, and started all 16 games in his professional first season. Following his second season, Darrelle was named to Pro Football Weekly’s All-Rookie Team after leading the Jets defense with 77 solo tackles. Before joining the NFL, he attended the University of Pittsburgh, and became the first player in Pittsburgh history to return an interception for a touchdown in consecutive games in his junior year. Darrelle is no stranger to philanthropy as he has participated in the United Way Hometown Huddle in 2007 to support youth fitness by volunteering. After-School All-Stars is thrilled to have Darrelle join the Touchdown Shutdown team. He will be donating per tackles in the upcoming season.
