Biography
With six years of experience as an NFL linebacker, Calvin Pace has been no stranger to success. After spending five seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, who drafted the Wake Forrest standout in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft, Pace signed a six-year contract with the New York Jets in 2008. Throughout his career, Calvin has amassed impressive statistics with 21 sacks, two forced fumbles and fumble recoveries, one interception, and over 260 tackles. During the 2008 season alone, the Detroit native compiled 80 tackles and seven sacks. Pace attended Lithia Springs High School in Lithia Springs, Georgia, and later enrolled at Wake Forrest University. It was here that Calvin became one of the nation’s top NFL prospects and twice received All-ACC honors. In addition to making big plays on the football field, Pace also does what he can to give back to the community. For the upcoming 2009 season, Calvin has teamed up with the Touchdown Shutdown Program to benefit After-School All-Stars and cannot wait to make a difference in the lives of as many kids as possible.
