Biography

Chris Harris made his NFL debut in 2005 and wasted no time breaking into the starting lineup for the Chicago Bears.  A 5th round pick out of Louisiana-Monroe, Chris won the starting free safety position early in the 2005 season and recorded over 50 total tackles and 3 interceptions in his rookie year. He continued his success into the 2006 season with 54 total tackles and 2 interceptions, and was a key contributor for the NFC Champion Bears. In 2007, Chris was traded to the Carolina Panthers. The trade did not slow him down, and Harris recorded 101 tackles and a league leading 8 forced fumbles in his first year with the Panthers. Chris played two more full seasons with Carolina before being traded back to Chicago.
